The support that you need WHEN you need it
How I Help
Coaching offers a distinct light on the recovery path for people who want to recover, but it doesn’t replace therapy or counseling. A coach is trained to work with you in a unique way, outside of an office, helping you with daily living experiences. This means I will be available at times and during situations when other treatment
providers are traditionally unavailable.
Coaching one-o-one
In our private sessions we will focus on developing new skills
that will strengthen your ability to change behaviors and challenge thoughts and
beliefs that are currently trapping you in an eating dissorder.
Face-to-face or virtual meal sessions:
Recovery from eating disorders requires mental and emotional effort, but the only way to recover is to actually act
differently, especially when you eat. I am trained to guide and support you during meal sessions so that you can speed up your recovery process by getting exposure
and support to challenging food scenarios.
High risk transitional activities
Buying clothes, making the menu for the week, shopping for food, starting a new way to exercise, are all activities that are not very important to many people, but when you are recovering from an eating disorder,
these activities are high risk situations that often put your recovery progress to the
test. I’m trained to support and guide you through these activities so that they
become an opportunity for progress and not a trigger for relapse.
Webinars/Conferences
I offer presentations for parents, schools and health
professionals who want to learn how to prevent the development of eating disorders and how to support a relative or patient to fully recover from an eating
disorder.
If you want to start receiving guidance and support in your recovery journey then
you can book a free consultation session and see if we coaching is right for you.
